About TellMeIfIWon
A simple, reliable way to know if your Powerball or Mega Millions ticket won.
The problem
Every year, roughly $1 billion or more in lottery prizes goes unclaimed — not because people didn't win, but because they never checked. Most players stop paying attention the moment they hear no one won the jackpot near them. What they miss: every drawing has dozens of smaller winners too, and those prizes have real, ticking claim deadlines.
We built TellMeIfIWon to close that gap. Snap a photo when you buy, and we handle the rest — every drawing, every prize tier, every deadline.
"TellMeIfIWon started as a personal problem. I'd buy a ticket, and then actually finding out whether it won meant either a return trip to the retailer to have it scanned — before I misplaced the ticket — or looking up the results myself. Neither was hard, exactly, but there had to be a better way: something faster and more automatic, so I'd know if I'd won before I had time to lose the ticket. So I built one — first for myself, then for anyone else who's ever bought a ticket and had no easy way to know if it paid off."

What we believe
Convenient. Saves you time.
Checking lottery results usually means visiting a website, squinting at fine print, and cross-checking a dozen numbers by hand. We turn that into one photo and an automatic check.
Reliable, even when things go wrong.
A lot of ticket-checking apps crash or hang when something on the back end slows down. Ours is built not to — if something fails, you get a clear next step, not a frozen screen.
Intuitive. Easy to learn, easy to use.
No manual, no onboarding tour required. Snap a photo, see your result — it should feel obvious the first time.
Every prize counts, not just the jackpot.
Even a $4 win is still a win. We check for it the same way we'd check for a jackpot.
Playing responsibly
TellMeIfIWon is built for people who already play — we're a checking tool, not an incentive to buy more tickets. You must be 18 or older to create an account. If lottery play ever stops feeling fun, help is available through the National Council on Problem Gambling's helpline, 1-800-MY-RESET.
Who's behind it
TellMeIfIWon is built and operated by GoThriveAI LLC, an independent team — not affiliated with MUSL, Scientific Games, or any state lottery.
